Iowa High School Basketball - AGWSR overwhelmed by Iowa Falls
December 6, 2008: Iowa Falls, IA 50126 The AGWSR Cougars basketball team (Ackley, IA), was overwhelmed 71-33 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Iowa Falls Cadets (Iowa Falls, IA)
The Cadets now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Clear Lake for a North Central battle on Tuesday, December 9. Iowa Falls will battle a Lions team coming off a 47-44 league win over Humboldt (Humboldt, IA). The Lions record now stands at 2-0.
The Cougars (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against East Marshall (Le Grand, IA). The Mustangs come into the North Iowa Cedar - West battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, East Marshall was overwhelmed by North Tama (Traer, IA), 60-56, in a non-league battle.
