Lincoln Golden Bears (Lincoln, AL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Anniston Bulldogs (Anniston, AL), 63-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lincoln upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Golden Bears travel to Munford (Munford, AL) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, December 12. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 0-4. Munford lost 51-41 in their recent non-league game against Central of Clay County (Lineville, AL)

With the defeat, Anniston moves to 4-3 on the year. The Bulldogs host Fort Payne (Fort Payne, AL) to face the Wildcats in a non-league game on Monday, December 15. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 3-7. Fort Payne won 52-36 in their recent league game against Southside (Gadsden, AL)
