The Mills Vikings football team (Millbrae, CA), was beaten 38-21 in Friday's league challenge with the host Sequoia Cherokee (Redwood City, CA)

The Cherokee (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Carlmont (Belmont, CA). The Scots come into the Peninsula - Ocean challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Carlmont was beaten by Menlo (Atherton, CA), 42-35, in a league challenge.

The Vikings now sport a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Capuchino for a Peninsula - Lake challenge on Friday, November 13. Mills will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 28-25 league loss to Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-8.
