Wisconsin High School Basketball - Kohler holds off Montello
January 17, 2009: Montello, WI 53949 Kohler Blue Bombers (Kohler, WI) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Montello Hilltoppers (Montello, WI), 49-42 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Kohler upgrades its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Blue Bombers travel to Sheboygan Area Lutheran (Sheboygan, WI) to play the Crusaders in a Central Lakeshore bout on Saturday, January 24. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 7-4. Sheboygan Area Lutheran won 57-46 in their recent league bout against Random Lake (Random Lake, WI)
Next up, the Hilltoppers play the Markesan Hornets (Markesan, WI) in a Trailways - Central bout, on Tuesday, January 20. Montello will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 51-31 league win over Green Lake (Green Lake, WI).
