In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Friendswood Mustangs (Friendswood, TX) in a 4A Region III District 24 match, on Friday, January 23. Angleton will attempt to move on its 18-6 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 15-7 record after their 51-49 league loss to Texas City (Texas City, TX).
With the defeat, La Marque moves to 14-10 on the year. The Cougars travel to Brazosport (Freeport, TX) to confront the Exporters in a 4A Region III District 24 match on Tuesday, January 27. The Exporters enter the match with a record of 7-13.
