January 4, 2011: Newtown, CT 06482 In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Pomperaug Panthers basketball team scored a good 45-32 triumph over the Newtown Nighthawks.
In their next game, the Panthers confront the Bethel Wildcats (Bethel, CT) in a Southwest - Colonial match, on Thursday, January 6. Pomperaug will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 5-0 record after their 55-48 non-league win over Plainfield (Central Village, CT).
