September 13, 2013: Irving, TX 75062 In Friday's non-league match, the host MacArthur Cardinals football squad scored a close 14-7 victory over the Haltom Buffalos.
In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the Turner Lions (Carrollton, TX) in a 5A Region I District 6 match, on Thursday, September 26. MacArthur will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.
The Buffalos (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Timber Creek (Fort Worth, TX). The Falcons enter the 5A Region I District 4 match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Timber Creek held off Creekview (Carrollton, TX), 27-24, in a non-league match.
