In Saturday's non-league outing, the Penn Kingsmen (Mishawaka, IN) basketball squad edged the visiting Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN), by a count of 43-41.

The Kingsmen (26-1) will now prepare for their outing against Zionsville (Zionsville, IN). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 21-5 record. In their last outing, Zionsville held off Fort Wayne South Side (Fort Wayne, IN), 67-50, in a non-league outing.

The Indians now hold a 22-7 record.
