The Brighton Bulldogs routed the host Vista PEAK Prep Bison softball squad by a final score of 23-2 in Thursday's league battle.

The Bulldogs (15-4) will now prepare for their battle against Thornton (Thornton, CO). The Trojans go into the 5A/4A East Metro battle with a 8-13 record. In their last battle, Thornton was routed by Adams City (Commerce City, CO), 9-5, in a league battle.

The Bison now possess a 16-5 record. They play next when they travel to Prairie View for a 5A/4A East Metro battle on Monday, October 1. Vista PEAK Prep will meet a Thunderhawks squad coming off a 20-0 league win over Rangeview (Aurora, CO). The Thunderhawks record now stands at 14-6.
