The Pirates now sport a 16-4 record. They play next when they travel to Lamar for a 3A District 2 match on Saturday, September 29. St. Mary's will face a Savages squad coming off a 7-0 league win over James Irwin (Colorado Springs, CO). The Savages record now stands at 14-6.
With the loss, Rocky Ford moves to 12-6 on the season. The Meloneers host La Junta (La Junta, CO) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Saturday, September 29. The Tigers go into the match with a record of 7-13. La Junta won 1-0 in their recent league match against Dolores Huerta Prep (Pueblo, CO)
