New York High School Volleyball - Williamsville South over Iroquois
October 4, 2010: Williamsville, NY 14221 The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Williamsville South Billies (Williamsville, NY) and the visiting Iroquois Chiefs (Elma, NY), saw Williamsville South's volleyball squad beat Iroquois by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Williamsville South upgrades its record to 4-4 on the year. The Billies travel to Williamsville East (East Amherst, NY) to play the Flames in a Section 6 Erie County II bout on Wednesday, October 6. The Flames go into the bout with a record of 7-1. Williamsville East won 3-1 in their recent league bout against West Seneca East (West Seneca, NY)
The Chiefs now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Starpoint for a Section 6 Erie County II bout on Friday, October 8. Iroquois will play a Spartans squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Sweet Home (Amherst, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 1-12.
