Bright Star Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Middle College Cougars (Los Angeles, CA), 5-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles confront the Animo South Los Angeles Panthers (Los Angeles, CA) in a Crosstown challenge, on Friday, January 19. Bright Star will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 2-1 league win over Math & Science College Preparatory (Los Angeles, CA).

The Cougars now have a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Foshay for a Crosstown challenge on Friday, January 19. Middle College will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 7-0 league loss to Port of Los Angeles (San Pedro, CA). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-3.
