The Metro-East Lutheran Knights basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Riverton Hawks to 44 in the Knights non-league victory on Saturday.

The Knights now sport a 14-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Alton-Wood River for a Prairie State contest on Tuesday, February 14. Metro-East Lutheran will battle a Oilers team coming off a 55-49 league win over Bunker Hill (Bunker Hill, IL). The Oilers record now stands at 7-16.

The Hawks (7-16) will now prepare for their contest against Williamsville (Williamsville, IL). The Bullets come into the Sangamo contest with a 18-5 record. In their last contest, Williamsville prevailed over Quest (Peoria, IL), 47-41, in a non-league contest.
