The Silver Stage Nighthawks basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Pyramid Lake Lakers to 47 in the Nighthawks non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Nighthawks now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eureka for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Silver Stage will meet a Vandals team coming off a 50-33 non-league loss to Incline (Incline Village, NV). The Vandals record now stands at 2-3.

The Lakers (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Owyhee (Owyhee, NV). The Braves enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Owyhee was defeated by Whittell (Zephyr Cove, NV), 72-28, in a non-league contest.
