Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Lewisburg tops Central Columbia
January 30, 2017: Lewisburg, PA 17837 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Lewisburg Green Dragons (Lewisburg, PA) and the visiting Central Columbia Bluejays (Bloomsburg, PA), saw Lewisburg's basketball squad knock off Central Columbia by a tally of 47-36.
With the victory, Lewisburg improves its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Green Dragons travel to Loyalsock Township (Williamsport, PA) to confront the Lancers in a Heartland II battle on Wednesday, February 1. The Lancers come into the battle with a record of 13-5. Loyalsock Township lost 74-66 in their recent non-league battle against Williamsport (Williamsport, PA)
The Bluejays (10-10) will now prepare for their battle against Lebanon Catholic (Lebanon, PA). The Beavers come into the Lancaster-Lebanon 4 battle with a 3-15 record. In their last battle, Lebanon Catholic dropped by Lancaster Mennonite (Lancaster, PA), 78-32, in a league battle.
