February 3, 2017: Houston, TX 77044 In Friday's league outing, the Atascocita Eagles (Humble, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host King Panthers (Houston, TX), by a count of 77-50.
The Eagles (20-8) will now prepare for their outing against Goose Creek Memorial (Baytown, TX). The Patriots go into the 6A Region III District 21 outing with a 12-14 record. In their last outing, Goose Creek Memorial was crushed by North Shore (Houston, TX), 39-26, in a league outing.
The Panthers now hold a 7-21 record. They play next when they travel to Kingwood for a 6A Region III District 21 outing on Tuesday, February 7. King will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 47-44 league loss to Sterling (Baytown, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 18-11.
