Indiana High School Basketball - South Bend Washington can't hold off South Bend St. Joseph
January 27, 2017: South Bend, IN 46617 The South Bend St. Joseph Indians basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting South Bend Washington Panthers to 48 in the Indians league triumph on Friday.
The Indians now sport a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Prairie for a Northern Indiana contest on Thursday, February 2. South Bend St. Joseph will battle a Cougars team coming off a 76-45 non-league win over South Central (Union Mills, IN). The Cougars record now stands at 11-8.
The Panthers (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Mishawaka (Mishawaka, IN). The Cavemen enter the Northern Indiana contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Mishawaka was nudged by Plymouth (Plymouth, IN), 61-57, in a non-league contest.
