The Centennial Apaches tipped the visiting North Saxons basketball team by a final score of 80-73 in Wednesday's league game.

In their next game, the Apaches face the South Spartans (Torrance, CA) in a Pioneer game, on Friday, January 20. Centennial will attempt to move on its 11-7 season record. The Spartans enter the game with a 11-9 record after their 76-56 league loss to West (Torrance, CA).

With the defeat, North moves to 12-8 on the year. The Saxons host Torrance (Torrance, CA) to face the Tartars in a Pioneer battle on Friday, January 20. The Tartars come into the battle with a record of 9-13. Torrance won 55-52 in their recent league battle against Leuzinger (Lawndale, CA)
