Kansas High School Basketball - West Elk crushes Central

February 17, 2017: Howard, KS 67349

West Elk Patriots (Howard, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Central Raiders (Burden, KS), 60-34 in a league bout.

With the win, West Elk upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Patriots travel to Eureka (Eureka, KS) to clash with the Tornadoes in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 21. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a record of 3-15. Eureka won 63-57 in their recent league bout against Cherryvale (Cherryvale, KS)

Next up, the Raiders clash with the Oxford Wildcats (Oxford, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 21. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record.
