December 3, 2009: Longview, TX 75608 In Thursday's non-league outing, the Pine Tree Pirates (Longview, TX) basketball squad edged the visiting Permian Panthers (Odessa, TX), by a margin of 52-49.
The Pirates (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Lindale (Lindale, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 3-1 record. In their last bout, Lindale held off Marshall (Marshall, TX), 54-53, in a non-league bout.
Next up, the Panthers play the Marshall Mavericks (Marshall, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 4. Permian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Mavericks come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 54-53 non-league loss to Lindale (Lindale, TX).
