In Saturday's non-league outing, the North Central Hurricanes (Lebeau, LA) basketball squad edged the visiting Ville Platte Bulldogs (Ville Platte, LA), by a margin of 56-53.

The Hurricanes (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against Peabody (Alexandria, LA). The Warhorses go into the non-league outing with a 14-0 record. In their last outing, Peabody nipped Deer Park (Deer Park, TX), 54-34, in a non-league outing.
