Kearney Bearcats (Kearney, NE) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hays Indians (Hays, KS), 73-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Kearney upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Lincoln East (Lincoln, NE) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
