San Ysidro Cougars (San Diego, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Rancho Bernardo Broncos (San Diego, CA), 83-76 in a non-league bout.

With the win, San Ysidro upgrades its record to 24-5 on the season. The Cougars host Rancho Buena Vista (Vista, CA) to play the Longhorns in a non-league bout on Friday, February 24. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 12-16. Rancho Buena Vista won 70-63 in their recent non-league bout against Eastlake (Chula Vista, CA)
