February 8, 2012: San Lorenzo, CA 94580 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the San Leandro Pirates (San Leandro, CA) and the host Arroyo Dons (San Lorenzo, CA), saw San Leandro's basketball squad knock off Arroyo by a score of 52-41.
With the victory, San Leandro improves its record to 18-5 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Hayward (Hayward, CA) to play the Farmers in a Hayward Area challenge on Friday, February 10. The Farmers come into the challenge with a record of 9-13. Hayward lost 63-55 in their recent league challenge against Mt. Eden (Hayward, CA)
Next up, the Dons play the Castro Valley Trojans (Castro Valley, CA) in a Hayward Area challenge, on Friday, February 10. Arroyo will attempt to improve on its 3-20 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 17-5 record after their 65-42 league loss to Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA).
