In Friday's league outing, the Archbishop Carroll Lions (Washington, DC) basketball squad edged the visiting Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD), by a count of 66-62.

The Lions (8-6) will now prepare for their outing against DeMatha (Hyattsville, MD). The Stags go into the Washington Catholic outing with a 17-2 record. In their last outing, DeMatha was tipped by Gonzaga (Washington, DC), 76-74, in a league outing.
