North Shore Mustangs (Houston, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting O. Perry Walker Chargers (New Orleans, LA), 47-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, North Shore upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Clear Brook (Friendswood, TX) to play the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 8. The Wolverines come into the bout with a record of 8-1.

Next up, the Chargers play the Opelousas Tigers (Opelousas, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. O. Perry Walker will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 70-41 non-league win over Eunice (Eunice, LA).
