January 11, 2018: Beatty, NV 89003 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Spring Mountain Eagles (Las Vegas, NV) and the host Beatty Hornets (Beatty, NV), saw Spring Mountain's basketball squad wallop Beatty by a tally of 56-26.
With the victory, Spring Mountain improves its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Trinity International (Las Vegas, NV) to encounter the Thunder in a non-league test on Friday, January 12. The Thunder go into the test with a record of 1-9. Trinity International lost 110-103 in their recent non-league test against Tennessee Preparatory Academy (Memphis, TN)
The Hornets now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Liberty Baptist Academy for a 1A Southern test on Friday, January 12. Beatty will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 52-45 non-league loss to GV Christian (Henderson, NV). The Knights record now stands at 3-4.
