Maryland High School Basketball - Northwest overwhelms Walter Johnson
February 6, 2018: Germantown, MD 20874 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Northwest Jaguars (Germantown, MD) and the visiting Walter Johnson Wildcats (Bethesda, MD), saw Northwest's basketball squad wallop Walter Johnson by a count of 76-54.
With the victory, Northwest upgrades its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Northwood (Silver Spring, MD) to play the Gladiators in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 16. The Gladiators come into the challenge with a record of 2-15.
Next up, the Wildcats play the Wootton Patriots (Rockville, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 10. Walter Johnson will attempt to upgrade on its 4-17 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 8-18 record after their 54-49 non-league loss to Rockville (Rockville, MD).
