September 14, 2018: Spokane, WA 99207 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Cheney Blackhawks (Cheney, WA) and the host Rogers Pirates (Spokane, WA), saw Cheney's volleyball squad beat Rogers by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Cheney upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Blackhawks travel to West Valley (Spokane, WA) to play the Eagles in a 2A Great Northern bout on Tuesday, September 18. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-5. West Valley lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA)
The Pirates now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Gonzaga Prep for a 3A/4A Greater Spokane bout on Tuesday, September 18. Rogers will play a Bullpups squad coming off a 3-0 league win over North Central (Spokane, WA). The Bullpups record now stands at 4-1.
