September 1, 2018: Palos Heights, IL 60463 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Chicago Christian Knights (Palos Heights, IL) and the visiting Kennedy Crusaders (Chicago, IL), saw Chicago Christian's volleyball squad beat Kennedy by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Chicago Christian upgrades its record to 6-5 on the year. The Knights travel to Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL) to play the Fightin' Irish in a Metro Suburban West bout on Tuesday, September 18. The Fightin' Irish go into the bout with a record of 3-5.
The Crusaders now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Von Steuben for a Chicago Public Super bout on Thursday, September 6. Kennedy will play a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Jones (Chicago, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 0-4.
