May 2, 2019: Bardonia, NY 10954 Albertus Magnus Falcons (Bardonia, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting Scarsdale Raiders (Scarsdale, NY), 12-9 in a non-league test.
The Falcons now have a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they host Pleasantville for a Section 1 III-A test on Saturday, May 4. Albertus Magnus will face a Panthers squad coming off a 19-3 non-league win over Westlake (Thornwood, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 8-2.
In their next game, the Raiders face the White Plains Tigers (White Plains, NY) in a Section 1 I-B test, on Wednesday, May 8. Scarsdale will attempt to move on its 3-8 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 7-8 record after their 12-10 non-league win over Ursuline (New Rochelle, NY).
