The Covington Lions topped the visiting St. Scholastica Doves volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Lions now have a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belaire for a non-league test on Thursday, September 22. Covington will confront a Bengals team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Port Allen (Port Allen, LA). The Bengals record now stands at 14-8.

The Doves (4-7) will now prepare for their test against Ursuline Academy (New Orleans, LA). The Lions enter the non-league test with a 11-1 record. In their last test, Ursuline Academy gained a win over Mt. Carmel (New Orleans, LA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
