California High School Basketball - Oxnard nips Ventura

January 24, 2019: Oxnard, CA 93030

Oxnard Yellowjackets (Oxnard, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Ventura Cougars (Ventura, CA), 49-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Oxnard upgrades its record to 19-6 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Pacifica (Oxnard, CA) to play the Tritons in a Pacific View bout on Tuesday, January 29. The Tritons go into the bout with a record of 13-8. Pacifica lost 45-43 in their recent non-league bout against Valencia (Valencia, CA)

Next up, the Cougars play the Buena Bulldogs (Ventura, CA) in a Pacific View bout, on Saturday, January 26. Ventura will attempt to upgrade on its 15-10 season record.
