Washington, DC High School Basketball - Our Lady of Good Counsel crushes Archbishop Carroll

Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons (Olney, MD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Archbishop Carroll Lions (Washington, DC), 54-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Our Lady of Good Counsel upgrades its record to 8-9 on the season. The Falcons travel to Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA) to play the Knights in a Washington Catholic bout on Monday, February 4. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 11-9. Bishop O'Connell lost 80-48 in their recent league bout against Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD)

Next up, the Lions play the Anacostia Indians (Washington, DC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 5. Archbishop Carroll will attempt to upgrade on its 12-11 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 11-11 record after their 64-40 league loss to Dunbar (Washington, DC).
