Sage Creek Bobcats (Carlsbad, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting El Capitan Vaqueros (Lakeside, CA), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Sage Creek upgrades its record to 14-16 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Francis Parker (San Diego, CA) to battle the Lancers in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 23. The Lancers come into the test with a record of 19-10. Francis Parker lost 4-3 in their recent league test against Bishop's (La Jolla, CA)

With the defeat, El Capitan falls to 9-19 on the season.
