California High School Baseball - Edison holds off Mayfair
March 12, 2018: Lakewood, CA 90713 The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Edison Chargers (Huntington Beach, CA) and the host Mayfair Monsoons (Lakewood, CA), witnessed Edison's baseball team gain a win over Mayfair by a score of 9-5.
The Chargers (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Trabuco Hills (Mission Viejo, CA). The Mustangs go into the non-league match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, Trabuco Hills was overwhelmed by Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA), 4-2, in a non-league match.
The Monsoons (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Banning (Wilmington, CA). The Pilots go into the non-league match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, Banning edged Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA), 5-4, in a non-league match.
