In Thursday's league challenge, the Whiteville Wolfpack (Whiteville, NC) baseball team crushed the visiting South Robeson Mustangs (Rowland, NC), by a count of 12-0.

The Wolfpack now possess a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fairmont for a 1A/2A Three Rivers bout on Friday, March 9. Whiteville will face a Golden Tornadoes team coming off a 5-2 league loss to St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC). The Golden Tornadoes record now stands at 2-1.
