Midland Bulldogs (Midland, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Ryan Raiders (Denton, TX), 58-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Midland upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Bulldogs host Lewisville (Lewisville, TX) to encounter the Farmers in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 21. The Farmers go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Lewisville won 63-56 in their recent non-league bout against Coronado (Lubbock, TX)

Next up, the Raiders encounter the Allen Eagles (Allen, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 23. Ryan will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 57-39 non-league loss to Coppell (Coppell, TX).
