Louisiana High School Football - New Iberia drops to Acadiana
September 21, 2018: New Iberia, LA 70560 In Friday's league game, the Acadiana Rams (Lafayette, LA) football team knocked off the host New Iberia Yellowjackets (New Iberia, LA), by a final score of 27-7.
The Rams (4-0) will now prepare for their game against Barbe (Lake Charles, LA). The Buccaneers come into the 5A District 3 game with a 4-0 record. In their last game, Barbe toppled Lafayette (Lafayette, LA), 42-21, in a league game.
The Yellowjackets now hold a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to LaGrange for a 5A District 3 game on Friday, September 28. New Iberia will battle a Gators team coming off a 54-12 league loss to Comeaux (Lafayette, LA). The Gators record now stands at 0-4.
