New Mexico High School Football - Cibola held off by Los Lunas
September 22, 2018: Albuquerque, NM 87114 Los Lunas Tigers (Los Lunas, NM) fans left the game content Saturday as they saw their football team nip the host Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM), 38-35 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Los Lunas improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Goddard (Roswell, NM) to battle the Rockets in a non-league test on Friday, September 28. The Rockets come into the test with a record of 3-0. Goddard won 28-0 in their recent non-league test against Portales (Portales, NM)
With the loss, Cibola drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM) to battle the Rams in a 6A District 1 test on Saturday, October 6. The Rams come into the test with a record of 1-4. Rio Rancho lost 23-18 in their recent non-league test against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM)
