Murphy Bulldogs (Murphy, NC) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the visiting Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC), 35-3 in a league test.

With the triumph, Murphy improves its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Rosman (Rosman, NC) to confront the Tigers in a Smoky Mountain 1A test on Friday, November 4. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 2-8. Rosman won 33-14 in their recent non-league test against Trinity Academy (Gray, TN)

With the loss, Swain County drops to 4-6 on the campaign. The Maroon devils host Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC) to confront the Black Knights in a Smoky Mountain 1A test on Friday, November 4. The Black Knights come into the test with a record of 4-5. Robbinsville lost 25-18 in their recent league test against Cherokee (Cherokee, NC)
