September 23, 2016: Laurel, MS 39440 The Laurel Golden Tornadoes football squad scored 42 points and limited the visiting West Jones Mustangs to 17 in the Golden Tornadoes league win on Friday.
The Golden Tornadoes now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Natchez for a 5A Region 3 battle on Friday, September 30. Laurel will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 23-12 league loss to Provine (Jackson, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-4.
