West Virginia High School Softball - Lincoln County nudges Chapmanville
March 31, 2012: Hamlin, WV 25523 Lincoln County Panthers (Hamlin, WV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Chapmanville Tigers (Chapmanville, WV), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host Point Pleasant for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 7. Lincoln County will battle a Knights squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Logan (Logan, WV). The Knights record now stands at 8-5.
With the loss, Chapmanville falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to WestSide (Clear Fork, WV) to battle the Renegades in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 2. The Renegades enter the challenge with a record of 4-0. WestSide won 7-5 in their recent non-league challenge against River View (Bradshaw, WV)
