Utah High School Basketball - American Heritage nips American Leadership Academy
February 7, 2019: American Fork, UT 84003 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the American Heritage Patriots (American Fork, UT) and the visiting American Leadership Academy Eagles (Spanish Fork, UT), saw American Heritage's basketball squad hold off American Leadership Academy by a tally of 87-82.
With the victory, American Heritage improves its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Patriots host Intermountain Christian (Salt Lake City, UT) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 12. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 10-8. Intermountain Christian lost 51-46 in their recent league challenge against Rich (Randolph, UT)
Next up, the Eagles play the Carbon Dinos (Price, UT) in a 3A Region 14 challenge, on Friday, February 8. American Leadership Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-17 season record. The Dinos come into the challenge with a 7-14 record after their 60-53 league loss to Union (Roosevelt, UT).
