The Neches Tigers basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Fairfield Eagles to 31 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Zavalla for a non-league contest on Monday, November 21.

The Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Midway (Waco, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league bout with a 2-5 record. In their last bout, Midway was dropped by Harker Heights (Harker Heights, TX), 73-31, in a non-league bout.
