Oregon High School Football - Oregon City held off by West Linn
September 30, 2011: Oregon City, OR 97045 West Linn Lions (West Linn, OR) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Oregon City Pioneers (Oregon City, OR), 28-27 in a league test.
With the triumph, West Linn improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Lions host Grant (Portland, OR) to battle the Generals in a non-league test on Friday, October 7. The Generals come into the test with a record of 4-1. Grant won 45-0 in their recent non-league test against Heritage (Vancouver, WA)
With the loss, Oregon City drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Clackamas (Clackamas, OR) to battle the Cavaliers in a 6A Three Rivers test on Friday, October 7. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 1-4. Clackamas lost 63-21 in their recent league test against Lakeridge (Lake Oswego, OR)
