September 5, 2008: Lexington, KY 40505 Bryan Station Defenders (Lexington, KY) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team rout the visiting Western Warriors (Louisville, KY), 47-6 in a non-league test.
With the win, Bryan Station improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Defenders travel to Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY) to confront the Golden Eagles in a 5A District 6 test on Friday, September 12. The Golden Eagles go into the test with a record of 1-0. Johnson Central won 26-14 in their recent non-league test against Breathitt County (Jackson, KY)
With the loss, Western moves to 1-1 on the season. The Warriors travel to Breckinridge County (Harned, KY) to confront the Fighting Tigers in a 4A District 3 test on Friday, September 12. The Fighting Tigers go into the test with a record of 0-2. Breckinridge County lost 49-0 in their recent non-league test against North Bullitt (Shepherdsville, KY)
