Tripp-Delmont/Armour Nighthawks (Armour, SD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Wagner Red Raiders (Wagner, SD), 58-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Tripp-Delmont/Armour upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Nighthawks travel to South Central co-op [Bonesteel-Fairfax/Burke] (Bonesteel, SD) to encounter the Cougars in a B District 12 bout on Friday, January 30. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 4-8.

Next up, the Red Raiders encounter the Cedar Catholic Trojans (Hartington, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 29. Wagner will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 58-43 league loss to Ponca (Ponca, NE).
