Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Neodesha Blue Streaks (Neodesha, KS) and the visiting Eureka Tornadoes (Eureka, KS), saw Neodesha's basketball squad hold off Eureka by a count of 40-39.

With the victory, Neodesha upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Blue Streaks travel to Yates Center (Yates Center, KS) to play the Wildcats in a Tri-Valley challenge on Monday, January 12. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Yates Center lost 55-43 in their recent league challenge against Humboldt (Humboldt, KS)

Next up, the Tornadoes play the Crest Lancers (Colony, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 13. Eureka will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 44-21 league win over Marmaton Valley (Moran, KS).
