Maine High School Basketball - Portland overwhelms Scarborough
January 21, 2014: Portland, ME 04101 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Portland Bulldogs (Portland, ME) and the visiting Scarborough Red Storm (Scarborough, ME), saw Portland's basketball squad wallop Scarborough by a count of 81-52.
With the victory, Portland upgrades its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Sanford (Sanford, ME) to play the Spartans in a A West challenge on Thursday, January 23. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Sanford won 52-45 in their recent league challenge against Deering (Portland, ME)
Next up, the Red Storm play the Deering Rams (Portland, ME) in a A West challenge, on Friday, January 24. Scarborough will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 52-45 league loss to Sanford (Sanford, ME).
